A subversive group of individuals, acting in the interests of themselves and the greater good of the family itself. The family was founded by Don Bartolli in Southern Italy sometime in the mid 1940s, but only rose to fruition around the turn of the 1980s, when expansion into the US markets boosted the economic prosperity of the family. Basing operation from New Jersey the family then moved to send smaller subgroups into the surrounding areas, one of which was Kelley's Island, the precursor to Erie. Coming into extreme profit during their time on Kelley's island, the heads of the family decided to re-establish the family on the island when the people returned following the evacuation.  The family is constructed on the traditional chain of command including both associates and made men. The family has deep rooted traditions, some of which reach as far back as the very founding of the family, and such traditions are guarded and held in the utmost respect by its members. Each new head of the family will take on the traditional title of 'Don Otteli', passed down through generations, and finally making its way to Erie. The family mainly specialises in the subversive bribing of officials and industry leaders to achieve financial and political goals, as well as securing a better quality of life for its members outside the restrictions of government regulations and rules.
